Samsung is going to introduce foldable phones

On Wednesday, the smartphone manufacturing company Samsung demonstrated the demo of foldable smartphones and device that can be available for common users within the following few years, According to Wall Street Journal. The analysts present at the event were not allowed to take photos of the demo phone. But let us tell you what we saw at the event.
The size of the first demo they showed was equal to the size of the Galaxy S3 phone and the phone could be folded in half (from top to bottom), according to Jae Lee who is an analyst at Daiwa Securities. Another demo phone was the equal to a wallet in size and this could be unfolded in either side into size of a tab computer, said Lee, adding that the devices were pretty good looking.
Samsung aims to introduce smartphones with foldable screens by the end of 2015. But the real products will take much longer to reach users. The change from curved to foldable screens will happen only if experts use plastic in place of glass while maintaining the sharpness and clarity.
